Adamlar Biography
Formed in Istanbul, Adamlar is a band very famous within the Turkish music and rock music communities. Adamlar consists of vocalist and guitarist Tolga Akdoğan, guitarist Gürhan Öğütücü, bassist Berat İşçioğlu, and drummer Berkan Tilavel.
Tolga Akdoğan, the band's vocalist, started Adamlar as just a project at the beginning. But with the success of this project, it turned into a real thing - Adamlar's debut album, named "Eski Dostum Tankla Gelmiş" (2014), was a very important moment in the music scene, and that's because it brought a very unique style that the industry in Turkey hasn't seen yet, and even some rap-styled lyrics.
The release of the rock band's second LP, "Rüyalarda Buruşmuşuz" in 2016, showed the world that they were not playing around, and were reaching their spot in the Turkish music industry mainstream.
Later, the band's third album, "Dünya Günlükleri," debuted in 2019, and featured the track "Hikaye." Another important moment was Adamlar's cover of Sezen Aksu's song, "Küçüğüm," of 2021.
With "Dünya Günlükleri," the band once again showed the world what they came for: their musical legacy in the Turkey music industry, evident in their exceptional music quality and compositions.
