That's where he started Urban Lights with his brother and friends, mixing British pop vibes with indie swagger and electronic beats. They even made it to the finals of "¡Tú sí que vales!" in 2013.

But Berlin called in 2014, and Soler answered. Going solo turned out to be his golden ticket—"El mismo sol" lit up the charts across Europe, especially in Italy and Switzerland. Jennifer Lopez hopped on a bilingual version of the song and took his sun-soaked sound worldwide. Enter "Sofia" in 2016, topping the charts from Poland to Switzerland—cementing a case that proved he wasn't some one-hit wonder.
