Attila Baukó, better known by his stage name Azahriah, is a Hungarian pop singer and rapper. He was born on January 28, 2002 in Budapest, Hungary. While he rose to prominence as a young teen YouTuber in his country, he was actually a big metal fan in his childhood, which gave him his earliest musical experiences.
He started his YouTube channel “paulstreet” (a reference to the popular youth novel "Paul Street Boys" by Ferenc Molnár) at just age 12 in 2014. He started gaining national attention around 2016. His content focused on vlogs initially, then transitioned into covering creepy, scary topics.
Baukó started putting out cover songs under his new stage name “Azahriah” (picked after an ancient Middle Eastern monarch) in 2019. He started releasing original songs in 2020, in English initially. Even his first full studio album had an English title, “I’m Worse”. It came out in April 2020.
His second album, “camouflage" also had English lyrics. However, he really blew up when he switched to his native language of Hungarian. His third record, “A ló túloldalán” from May 2022, ended up topping the album chart in Hungary.
Azahriah’s music career was also helped by a sex scandal. In May 2023, a video leaked online of him having sex with a fan behind a portable toilet after one of his concerts. While he received considerable backlash and even harassment, the additional attention ultimately helped push his music to a greater audience.
By 2024, he made national headlines for selling out the 60,000-seat capacity Puskás Aréna in Budapest for a live Azahriah concert show for three nights in a row. Overall, he has published five studio albums. The latest new Azahriah album came out in April 2024, with the title “skatulya i," suggesting that a sequel is planned.
The biggest hits in the Azahriah tracklist to date are “mind1” featuring DESH (2022), “3korty” (2023), “Introvertált dal” (also 2023), and “four moods” (2025). Check when the next Azahriah concert is playing near you on our page above.
