Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, also known by his stage name in the EDM universe, Black Coffee, is a DJ and producer who gained popularity for his participation in the 2004 Red Bull Music Academy. Starting with basic software and a computer mouse (no fancy equipment here), he dropped his self-titled debut in 2005. His remix of Hugh Masekela's "Stimela" caught fire, and suddenly South Africa had a new star on its hands. But Coffee wasn't content just being big at home.
