Boris Brejcha Biography
From Ludwigshafen, Germany, Boris Brejcha is a DJ and producer, known within the EDM community for his signature style, "high-tech minimal." Not only Boris's music genre is unique, but his stage outfit is also very innovative, Boris is known for his joker mask. The DJ has been playing all over the world, and in mainstream music festivals like Coachella. And if that was not enough, he also co-founded the label Fckng Serious with Ann Clue and Deniz Bul. Boris Brejcha is a true OG for the electronic music community.
Boris's interest in electronic music started when he heard the "Thunderdome" CD brought by a classmate. At just twelve years old, he began producing electronic music as a hobby. In 2006, he made his debut release and performed for the first time at the Universo Paralello Festival in Ituberá, Brazil, where he adopted his iconic Joker mask inspired by the Brazilian Carnival.
In 2015, Boris Brejcha started his own label, Fckng Serious, which helped him become more creative. He got famous by performing on popular platforms like the French channel "Cercle" and at "Tomorrowland," where he got over 140 million views on YouTube.
His tenth album was released at the Ultra Music Festival and ranked 42nd in DJ-Mag Top100 DJs, showing how influential he is. Boris sticks to his style by only playing his own music at concerts, which makes his shows very popular with fans all over the world.
Boris went through a traumatic episode when he was young. During a concert by the industrial metal band Rammstein, he was seriously injured by fire. The band Rammstein is known for doing pyrotechnics on stage, which is super safe and meticulously produced by the band crew, but at that time, things went bad. Boris suffered severe burns.
