Cengiz Kurtoğlu Biography
Hailing from Turkey, Cengiz Kurtoğlu, born in 57, is a renowned musician and composer, very influential all over his country for his contributions to Turkish music. Cengiz started working in a tea factory before going to Istanbul. He founded an orchestra called "Ciha Dağı Efsanesi," marking his music career's start. After military service in Ankara, where his first child was born, he moved to Istanbul in 1982.
By that time, he released his first album, called "Sen Sözden Anlamaz Mısın?" which made the singer popular all over the country.
A very fun fact is that Cengiz Kurtoğlu's single, "Sen Sözden Anlamaz Mısın?" led to the formation of a fan group called Cengizciler.
