Chase Atlantic Concerts Setlist

Chase Atlantic, sometimes stylized as CHASE ATLANTIC, is an Australian alternative R&B band. They were founded in 2014 in Cairns, Australia. The founding members were vocalist and bassist Christian Anthony (born in 1997 in Sydney, Australia), vocalist and guitarist Mitchel Cave (1996, Cairns, Australia), and guitarist and saxophonist Clinton Cave (1993, Cairns, Australia).

Originally, Anthony formed a musical duo with the younger of the Cave brothers, Mitchel, to enter the 2012 X Factor Australia competition. They were eventually eliminated in 11th place, which means they got to the live show part of the competition. In the meantime, Clinton Cave built up a successful YouTube channel called “Clinton Cave Music”.

The three of them first collaborated under the name “K.I.D.S.”, which stood for “Kind Imaginations. Destructive Situations”. They released one original single - however, they later deleted all the content from the internet that they made under the K.I.D.S. brand.

The trio worked together again for a college project that Clinton Cave had due. That is when they started to use the name “Chase Atlantic”. They released their first EP (Extended Play) in 2014, with the title “Dalliance”. The next year, in 2015, one of the songs from their second EP, a single called “Friends”, went viral on the social media site Tumblr. This caught the attention of the American pop rock duo The Madden Brothers, who signed them with their management company.

They released two more EP’s and went on a national Chase Atlantic concert tour in Australia before signing with the major American record label Warner Bros. Records. Their self-titled debut album, “Chase Atlantic”, came out in October 2017. While it never achieved great commercial success, it did land them the opportunity to go on a headline Chase Atlantic concert tour in the United States. They have since released two more albums, “Phases” in June 2019 and the new Chase Atlantic album “Beauty in Death” in March 2021. “Phases” was the best selling one among them. However, none of their records managed to crack the famous Billboard 200 so far, nor did they ever rank high on charts outside of the US either.

Chase Atlantic’s biggest hits to date are the aforementioned “Friends” (2015), “Slow Down” (2016), "Into It” (2017), and “Swim” (also 2017). They are no longer signed with Warner Bros, they are now an independent band.
