Prince Dadj, also known as Dadju or Dadju Alimasi Nsungula, is a singer born in Melun, France. From 2012 to 2016, Dadju was a member of the musical formation The Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall. Together, they released the album "Indéfini." Later, Dadju and Abou decided to split to pursue their solo careers. By 2017, Dadju released his solo album "Gentleman 2.0."
Dadju came from a family with very heavy musical influences, his dad, Djanana Djuna, was a vocalist for Papa Wemba's band, and his half-brother, Gims, is a former member of the French rap group Sexion d'Assaut, famous for singles like "Avant qu'elle parte" and "Wati by Night." His other brothers are also rappers and have a huge influence on the underground rap scene.
