But... Here are the top 10 songs by David Michael Frank likely to played live!
David Michael Frank is an American singer and influencer. He was born on July 13, 1990 in Seattle, Washington. Frank grew up in Seattle and played in multiple bands as a teenager in what he calls “the MySpace era” of music. According to a 2022 interview with New Scene Magazine, he taught himself all essential parts of the music making process in those years: songwriting, production, singing, graphic design, marketing, and even accounting.
In 2012, he joined the pop rock band “King the Kid”, along with three other young musicians. They put out 4 EP’s and 2 albums together before dismantling in 2014. So, the same year, he and one of the other boys from King the Kid, Jose Mostajo, founded a new musical group, the pop duo “Future Sunsets”. They released cover songs exclusively, no original compositions. The same year as their formation, he went on an international David Michael Frank concert tour with his duo in Europe, called “The Dandiest Lion Tour: Europe”. In 2015, they released their debut EP (Extended Play), titled “FREE EP”, then their debut album in June 2015, with the title “Cover Anthology Pt. 1”. However, part 2 of this record was never made. In 2019, Mostajo left Future Sunsets. Frank didn’t look for a new partner, instead, he rebranded the musical act as himself as a solo artist.
The biggest hits put out by David Michael Frank online to date are all covers, such as the cover of the 2013 song by Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball”, of the 2013 Demi Lovato song “Heart Attack”, and of the 2012 song by Macklemore “Thrift Shop”. The most successful original composition he’s been a part of is the 2012 single “We Are the Ones” by his late band King the Kid.
Frank has a widely popular Tik Tok account with over 2 million followers. He is married to atheist YouTuber Jaclyn Glenn.
