Eyedress Biography
Born and raised in the Philippines but later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, Eyedress, whose real name is Idris Ennolandy Vicuña, is an underground singer known for blending different music styles like hip-hop, house, and punk. He's considered part of the new punk culture. Eyedress began his career as a bassist in a crust punk band. Even at a young age, he designed his own clothes and shared his beats online for free.
Eyedress opened his way in the music industry by making beats, after gaining some recognition as a beat-maker, he was introduced to a famous Manila-based singer, Skint Eastwood, which they later collaborated in a song called "Biolumine." The song guaranteed Eyedress a record deal, but the craziest part is that the song was produced by him on his bedroom. A proof of the power of the Soundcloud era.
After finding success, Eyedress moved to Los Angeles and began releasing singles. Some of his songs, like "Jealous" and "Romantic Lover," became viral hits on TikTok. "Jealous" received gold certification in Australia, Canada, Poland, and the USA in 2021, and platinum certification in the USA in 2022.
Eyedress became so well-known that he was featured at the popular Coachella Music Festival in 2022.
