Fatma Turgut Concerts Setlist

Fatma Turgut is a Turkish singer and songwriter. She was born on January 2, 1984 in Aydın, Turkey. Turgut studied music at the Dokuz Eylul University, she graduated in 2010. She learnt singing and the acoustic guitar. While in college, she was in numerous amateur rock bands.

In 2005, she joined the alternative rock group “A Due Carmen”, which later became a successful musical act under the new name “Model”. She was the lead vocalist for them for 11 years, between 2005 and 2016. They released 3 studio albums with her on the vocals. Out of those three records, “Diğer Masallar” from February 2011 was the best selling one, having sold 45,000 copies in Turkey. Her biggest hit song with the band was “Mey” from 2016. However, in late 2016, she announced on her Twitter that she’d be leaving the band, a decision that ultimately led to Model being dismantled.

So, Fatma Turgut started on her journey as a solo musician. She put out the first single of her own in 2016, with the title “Bensiz Bir Sen”, and featuring the Istanbul-based heavy metal band “You May Kiss The Bride (YMKTB)”. The rest of her songs don’t feature other bands, just solo artists. Her debut solo album, “Elimde Dünya” was released in May 2019, through the Turkish label “Europe”. As of now, there is no word about a new Farma Turgut album coming out any time soon. However, she is doing live Fatma Turgut concert shows across Turkey year-round, for example, she was featured in Cityfest ‘22 in the city of Diyarbakır.
