Inner Circle is a reggae group hailing from Jamaica, with a rich history dating back to their formation in 1968. Over the years, they have captivated audiences worldwide with their infectious rhythms and soulful lyrics.
One of Inner Circle's standout tracks, "Bad Boys," achieved immense global recognition as the iconic theme song for the popular American television show "Cops."
In addition to "Bad Boys," Inner Circle has delivered a string of other memorable hits that have left an indelible mark on the reggae genre. "Sweat (A La La La La Long)" and "Games People Play" are prime examples of their ability to infuse reggae with elements of pop, creating a unique and accessible sound that appeals to a broad audience.
In 1993, Inner Circle received the prestigious Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for their album "Bad Boys." The title track from the album became their biggest international hit, reaching the top of the charts in several countries.
Inner Circle has collaborated with numerous artists from different genres throughout their career. They worked with rapper Snoop Dogg on the track "Bad Boys (Theme from Cops)" for the remix version.
