Madrigal Biography
The group Madrigal was founded in 2007 in Kocaeli, Turkey. The band was formed by friends Ceyhun Kaan Karakaş and Kaan Alıcı. They started by playing covers before releasing their first song "Why Diye Sorma" in 2015. Their debut EP received positive feedback, making the band gain their first fan base. In 2019, they decided to bring more indie influences into their music, starting with the song "Butterflies." Always maintaining an innovative mindset, the band brought more indie electronic style, together with Turkish folk melodies, starting with songs like "Seni Dert Etmeler."
Recently, Madrigal has released a new single called "Sen ya da Hiç." The song was important because it marked the group's evolving musical journey. Composed of Anıl Erdem Cevizci, Ceyhun Kaan Karakaş, Kaan Alıcı, Burak Emir Kamacı and Sanlı Akgün, the music once again has a very modern and creative style.
