MAN WITH A MISSION Concerts Setlist

Formed in the famous district of Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan, MAN WITH A MISSION, also stylized as MWAM is a rock group that debuted in 2010. The band caught the public's attention first by their visuals, with each of its members wearing unique wolf masks, and later the band made huge success with their innovative style mixing rock, pop and punk genres. The band has five members: Tokyo Tanaka sings and leads, Jean-Ken Johnny plays guitar, sings, and raps, Kamikaze Boy plays bass and sings backup, DJ Santa Monica mixes music, and Spear Rib plays drums.

Before getting famous, the band said that they were created as the "Ultimate Life Form" by Jimi Hendrix, who they called the guitar doctor and wolf expert. They claim they were frozen in Antarctica for a long time. While frozen, they listened to lots of music from everywhere. Then they escaped and started their journey in the Japanese music scene. This story makes the band even more unique.

The band started their career by catching the attention of people in the Shibuya area, but in just a few years, MAN WITH A MISSION arranged a tour in the USA in late 2010 called the "Whisky a Go Go" tour. They played at various nightclubs in Los Angeles.

MAN WITH A MISSION has hit songs like "Raise Your Flag," "My Hero," and "Dead End in Tokyo," which are fan favorites. Their albums "MASH UP THE WORLD" and "The World's On Fire" are praised by critics and loved by fans for their energetic rock music with a special touch. The band's diverse music style and imaginative approach have earned them a loyal fanbase all over the globe.

In 2021, the band revealed that they would launch their sixth studio album, titled Break and Cross the Walls I, on November 24 of the same year.
