Noize MC Concerts Setlist

Born in Yartsevo, Russia, Ivan Aleksandrovich Alekseyev, also known by his stage name, Noize MC, is a rapper and actor. Noize MC became interested in music at ten. He studied classical guitar and won regional competitions in Belgorod. At 13, he formed a rock band, inspired by Nirvana and The Prodigy. He graduated from a music school in 2001 and high school with honors in 2002. That summer, he moved to Moscow to attend the Russian State University for the Humanities, leaving his band behind.

In 2007, Noize MC signed a contract with Respect Productions and Universal Music Group, marking a major milestone for both the artist and Russian hip-hop. This deal was seen as a significant shift from underground to mainstream. Simultaneously, Noize MC won the "7th official hip-hop battles" competition, beating over 3000 rappers. A video from one of his battles, "Za Zakrytoj dver'u," was released in 2007 and he ranked 10th in MTV's "100 Best Songs of 2007."

In 2021, Ivan released his ninth studio album "Exit to City," with cover art by Dima Rebus, known for his watercolor techniques. The album's first half was released on this date, and the full version became available later that year.

In 2010, a car driven by Lukoil Vice President Anatoly Barkov collided with a Citroën in Moscow, killing two women, one of whom was pregnant. Although witnesses claimed Barkov was at fault, authorities blamed the Citroën. Noize MC, who was on tour in Vladivostok, was deeply affected as one of the victims was a friend's sister. He quickly wrote and released the rap song "Mercedes S666" in protest, which gained widespread popularity online.

One year later, Noize MC, alongside other celebrities, spoke at an anti-government demonstration.
