THE ALFEE is a popular Japanese folk rock band that debuted in 1974. The band comprises three members: Masaru Sakurai (voice, bass guitar, born January 20, 1955), Konosuke Sakazaki, and Toshihiko Takamizawa. Over the years, they have released 23 studio albums and 63 singles, demonstrating their extensive contribution to the music industry.
Initially, the band started as a folk group but soon progressed to rock. Their music encompasses a range of genres including Pop Rock, Hard Rock, and AOR (Album Oriented Rock). Their discography is diverse and expansive, with their debut single released in August 1974.
