Born in Washington, D.C., USA, Wale is a rapper who gained fame with his song "Dig Dug (Shake It)" in 2006. Wale's debut album is called "Attention Deficit" and was released in 2008. Two years later, the rapper gained more popularity with the song "No Hands," and after being signed by Rick Ross' music group. Wale is a huge fan of the Washington Commanders and loves wrestling, which he is always referencing in his songs. Wale has also escorted wrestlers like The Street Profits and Big E to the ring.

Wale moved to Maryland when he was 10 years old, throughout many struggles and a tough childhood, Wale released his first track, called "Rhyme of the Century," which came just before the boom of "Dig Dug (Shake It)," which instantly became a huge hit in Washington, D.C.

After switching to a new record label in 2018, Wale released a surprise EP called "It's Complicated." The rapper then signed to a major record label.
