Zachary Lane Bryan is an American country singer and songwriter. He was born on April 2, 1996 in Okinawa, Japan. Bryan was born in Japan while his parents were on a Navy deployment there. However, he grew up in Oologah, Oklahoma in the United States. At age 14, he got his first guitar and taught himself how to play. He too joined the Navy after high school, as per his family’s tradition, and was writing music in his spare time during his service. He served between 2013 and 2021 and reached the rank of Petty Officer Second Class.
While still in the Navy, he started uploading his music to YouTube in 2017. One of his songs, “Heading South”, went viral on Spotify in 2019. This gave him the confidence to self-publish his first album in August 2019, with the title “DeAnn”. It failed to gain any significant traction commercially. However, that didn’t deter Bryan just yet. He put out a self-released new Luke Bryan album in May 2020, with the title “Elisabeth”. It performed much better. It reached the #41 spot on Billboard’s country music chart.
As a result, he got to make his first label-backed record. In May 2022, Warner Records released his third album, “American Heartbreak”. By that time, Bryan was out of the Navy. The album became a massive hit, topping the Billboard country music chart this time, while also reaching the #5 spot on the overall Billboard 200 chart. Meanwhile, he also went on his first ever nationwide Luke Bryan concert tour, the “Ain't For Tamin' Tour”, in the fall of 2021.
The biggest hits in the Luke Bryan setlist to date are the aforementioned “Heading South” (2019), “Letting Someone Go” (2020), “Crooked Teeth” (also 2020), “Something in the Orange” (2022). Check when the next Luke Bryan concert is playing near you on our page above.
