Beth Hart Biography
From the city of Fallen Angels: Los Angeles, USA, Beth Hart is a blues rock musician, who rose to fame with the release of her 1999 single "LA Song (Out of This Town)." Throughout her career, Beth has collaborated in many projects with Joe Bonamassa, starting with "Don't Explain" in 2011, followed by the Grammy-nominated "Seesaw" of 2013 and "Live in Amsterdam" of 2014, which topped the Billboard Blues Album Chart.
Beth started playing piano at the age of 4, even though she is now a blues rock star, Beth started by playing songs by Bach and Beethoven. As she grew older, she expanded her to include works by artists like Etta James, Otis Redding, and Led Zeppelin.
Encouraged by a friend, she started performing at open mic nights, and at the age of 15, she began playing in Hollywood clubs and formed the group Beth Hart and the Ocean of Souls with other musicians, recording in 93. Their first album, "Immortal," released in 96, had special songs like a cover of The Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." After touring, including at the music festival Lollapalooza in 1996, the band ended up disbanding due to internal problems.
Beth's second album, called "Screamin' for My Supper," was released in 99, featuring the song "LA Song (Out of This Town)." Her next album, "Leave the Light On," released in 2003, was also an important milestone for the blues rock artist.
In 2011, Beth collaborated with Joe Bonamassa on "Don't Explain," bringing some innovation to the horizon. The album that had blues and soul characteristics, went gold in The Netherlands. She also sang on Bonamassa's "No Love on the Street" from his album "Dust Bowl." Right after that, in 2012, her album "Bang Bang Boom Boom" became a major success, charting in over 10 countries and reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart.
Proving how successful Beth is, she has topped this chart six times. Their latest collaboration was on the 2018 album "Black Coffee". Beth also has achieved two number 1 singles in Denmark with "As Good as It Gets" and "Learning to Live", and her album "Leave the Light On" went double platinum. Her newest album, released in 2022, is "A Tribute to Led Zeppelin", featuring covers of Led Zeppelin songs.
Hart released her ninth solo album, "War in My Mind," in 2019 through Provogue/Mascot Label Group. The album became her highest-charting solo work in Europe, reaching the Top 20 in the UK and the Top 10 in Germany.
