Blxst Concerts Setlist

Matthew Dean Burdette, better known by his stage name Blxst (pronounced as th word “blast”) is an American rapper. He was born on September 17, 1992 in Los Angeles, California. Growing up, Blxst wanted to become a professional sketeboarder. However, he started rapping shortly after graduating from high school instead. He then joined the hip hop collective called "TIU Muzic". He was also producing for other artists, such as Hitta J3 (who featured Kendrick Lamar on his song produced by Blxst), and founded his own label before putting out his debut single as a solo artist in 2016. That track was titled “Who Would've Thought”.

In 2020, he released his first EP (Extended Play), “No Love Lost”, in collaboration with Red Bull Records. It reached the #3 spot on Billboard’s new artist-specific Heatseekers chart. In the same year, Blxst released a deluxe edition of the record, featuring such famed hip hop artists as Ty Dolla $ign or Tyga. He also started doing live Blxst concert shows in big venues across North America in 2021.

The Californian rapper put out one more EP (with only two tracks on it) before releasing his debut album in April 2022. “Before You Go” got on the famous Billboard 200 chart, peaking at the #90 spot. There is now word on when the next new Blxst album is coming out given the recent release of his first record.

The biggest hits in the Blxst setlist to date are “Savage” (2019) featuring Bino Rideaux, “Chosen” (2020) featuring Ty Dolla $ign & Tyga, “Overrated” (also 2020), and “About You” (2022). He was also featured on the 2020 hit track by American rapper Mozzy “I Ain’t Perfect”. In 2022, he received the XXL Magazine Award in the Best New Artist Cetegory.
