His full name is Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, but he is popularly known by the stage name Central Cee. He is a rapper from Shepherd's Bush, London, born on June 4, 1998. He has mixed ethnicity, as his father is of Guyanese and Chinese descent, while his mother is of English descent. When he was seven years old, his parents separated, after which he grew up in West London.

Central Cee discovered his passion for music at the age of 14 after visiting a recording studio near Wandsworth Bridge. At the age of 14, he started making music, freestyling, and releasing music in the mid-2010s, but it wasn't easy at the start of his career. It wasn't until 2020 that he made the switch to UK drill, releasing the hit singles "Day in the Life" and "Loading," after which he rose to fame.

His debut mixtape, "Wild West," released in 2021, topped the UK Albums Chart at number two, while the second mixtape, "23," topped the UK Albums Chart in 2022. The hit single "Doja" released in 2022 became a cultural phenomenon, becoming the most-streamed UK rap song on Spotify at the time of its release.

In 2023, the hit single "Sprinter," featuring Dave, became the rapper's first number-one hit on the UK Singles Chart, staying at the top of the chart for ten consecutive weeks, becoming the longest-running UK number one single of all time. The single went on to become the most-streamed UK rap song of all time.

The rapper's subsequent single "Band4Band," featuring Lil Baby, released in 2024, became the highest-charting UK rap single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 18 on the chart. The rapper's debut album, "Can't Rush Greatness" released in 2025 topped the UK Albums Chart at number one and the Billboard 200 at number nine, becoming the first UK rap album to chart on the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart.

Central Cee has launched the streetwear label Syna World, partnering with Nike and Paris Saint-Germain, and cites Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Skepta as influences on his music.
