Eladio Carrión Concerts Setlist

Talk about a wild ride - this Kansas City kid born to Puerto Rican parents went from Olympic swimming hopeful to comedy influencer to one of Latin trap's most interesting voices. Eladio Carrión spent his childhood bouncing between Hawaii, Baltimore, and even Alaska before landing in Humacao, Puerto Rico at 11. No wonder his music sounds like it's from everywhere and nowhere at once.

Before he was dropping bars, he was dropping times in the pool, good enough to rep Puerto Rico at the Central American Games. But by 2012, he ditched the swimming cap for a mic, first making people laugh on Vine and Instagram before deciding to make them bounce instead.

His first track "2x2" with Flowsito barely made waves in 2015, but something clicked. By 2017, he's dropping "Me Enamoré de una Yal" with Ñengo Flow, and suddenly everyone's paying attention. 2020's "Sauce Boyz" changed everything - eight weeks in Billboard's Top Latin Albums, a Latin Grammy nom for his Bad Bunny collab "Kemba Walker", and suddenly this former swimmer's doing laps around the competition. He followed up with "Monarca", linking up with J Balvin and Yandel, then dropped that crazy Bizarrap session that had Spain giving him gold plaques.

It wasn't until 2023, though, that things began to get more enthralling. "3men2 kbrn" has came swinging with tracks from 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and Future. It isn't your typical Latin trap lineup on that note for him to prove himself whatsoever close to typical is about time soon enough (-even if Bhad Bhabie never does shake off its wistfulness). Then it's "Coco Chanel" with Bad Bunny, a Latin Grammy winner; in early 2024 he drops "Sol María" named after his mom and slathers on some personal lyrics about "Mamá's Boy".

From Coachella to Baja Beach Fest, this guy who used to compete in 200-meter breaststrokes is now commanding festival crowds. The best part? He's still switching up his style, still taking risks, still making music that sounds like nothing else in the game. Not bad for a kid who started out making comedy videos on Vine.
