Graham Nash Concerts Setlist

Graham Nash is an English-American musician known for his light tenor voice and as a member of The Hollies, and Crosby, Stills & Nash. He is also a photography collector and published photographer. Nash was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1997 and The Hollies in 2010. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2010 for his services to music and charity. Nash holds four honorary doctorates, including ones from the New York Institute of Technology and the University of Salford.

Graham Nash was born in 1942 in Blackpool, UK, where his mother had been evacuated during World War II. The family later returned to Salford, where Nash grew up. When he was 14, his father was imprisoned for a year for receiving a stolen camera, which he had bought as a gift for Nash but refused to reveal the seller's name to the police.

In the early 1960s, Nash co-founded The Hollies with Allan Clarke and led their first album. He sang on "Just One Look" and "To You My Love" and provided lead vocals on singles like "On a Carousel" and "Carrie Anne". Nash pushed the band to write their own songs, initially with Clarke and later with Tony Hicks, using the alias L. Ransford until 1966. In 1965, they formed Gralto Music Ltd, which later signed Elton John, who played on Hollies' recordings in 1969 and 1970.

Nash met David Crosby and Stephen Stills in 1966 and later formed Crosby, Stills & Nash, which became Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in 1969 with Neil Young. Nash wrote many hits like "Our House", "Teach Your Children", and "Marrakesh Express". He became politically active in California, writing anti-Vietnam War songs like "Military Madness". In 1972, Nash and Crosby formed a duo, producing several albums and hits like "Immigration Man". Nash's solo career began with "Songs For Beginners" in 1971. In 1979, he co-founded Musicians United for Safe Energy, opposing nuclear power and organizing No Nukes events.

Nash rejoined The Hollies in 1983 for their 20th anniversary, recording "What Goes Around..." and "Reunion". In 1993, he reunited with them to record a new version of "Peggy Sue Got Married" featuring Buddy Holly's lead vocal, which opened the "Not Fade Away" tribute album.

In 2018, Rhino Records released "Over The Years", a two-disk box set of Nash's demos from 1968 to 1980. It includes highlights from "Crosby, Stills & Nash" like "Marrakesh Express", "Déjà Vu" tracks like "Our House" and "Teach Your Children", and songs from Nash's solo album "Songs For Beginners". The set also features "Myself at Last" from his 2016 album "This Path Tonight" and 15 demo recordings, 12 of which were previously unreleased.
