Palaye Royale Biography
Formed in Las Vegas, Palaye Royale is a rock band founded in 2008. The band was first named Kropp Circle, but later, rebranded to Palaye Royale. Before changing the band's name, they released one EP and two singles. Palaye Royale was formed by brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, and Emerson Barrett.
The three brothers, encouraged by their mother and their mother's friend, the brothers dropped out of school to embark on a music journey. The band started by playing acoustic songs and started to get noticed by record labels and radio stations. By 2010, Palaye Royale released the four-track EP "Who We Really Are," along with singles and music videos for "Who We Really Are" and "Can't Stop the Rain."
One year later, they officially changed the band's name and released Palaye Royale's first single, "Morning Light," in 2012. By 2014, they made history as the first unsigned band to win MTV's Musical March Madness tournament, triumphing over heavy-weight bands and artists such as Linkin Park.
By 2018, the band was already working on their second album. After a concert on Warped Tour, the band released "Boom Boom Room (Side B)." Less than one year after this, the band went on tour to support the album. During that tour, Sebastian Danzig was arrested for throwing a cup of coffee at a car that endangered him and his fiancée's dog. That same summer, Palaye Royale opened for Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on the Twins of Evil Tour.
In 2023, the band released "Debilitate" with Pussy Riot and covered "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" for a movie soundtrack.
