Famous for the song "Qué Vida La Mía," Reik is a pop rock/Latin pop band from Mexicali, Baja California, formed in 2003. The band has not only been a sensation on the internet but has also secured a Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2009 during their career. Throughout their career, the band has collaborated with artists like Ozuna, Nicky Jam, and Maluma.
The band's debut album went gold in Mexico and sold over 50k copies in 2005. Later, the band decided to travel to the USA to promote their album, which was already a huge hit on all radio stations. The band arranged a mini-tour that visited cities like Miami, Houston, Dallas, and others. That same year, the band released the album in American territory. Not only did the band sell over 40k copies in the USA alone, but they also received platinum certification in Mexico for selling 120k copies.
Nowadays, the band is still a huge success in the music industry and proved to the public that they are not done with music. In 2020, the band arranged a YouTube Livestream and performed a concert, with the band members performing from the USA and Mexico simultaneously.
