Bigflo & Oli Biography
Bigflo & Oli is a French hip hop duo from Toulouse made up of two brothers, Florian and Olivio Ordoñez. Their father is Argentinian and a salsa singer, their mother French of Algerian descent. Both brothers received formal musical training at the Toulouse conservatoire. They started rapping as kids after hearing a song by Sully Sefil, and began performing on local scenes and rap battles as teenagers.
In 2014 they signed to Polydor and released the EP "Le Trac," which introduced them to mainstream audiences. Their debut album "La Cour des grands" came out in 2015 and went gold in under four months, making them the youngest French rappers to receive that distinction.
Their second album "La Vraie Vie" in 2017 featured guests like Stromae, Busta Rhymes and JoeyStarr, and eventually went triple platinum with over 300,000 sales. Their third album "La Vie de rêve" in 2018 sold over 44,000 copies in its first week and went gold in just 10 days.
By 2019 they had sold over a million albums total and played two consecutive nights at the Stadium de Toulouse, where no concerts had been held since Michael Jackson's 92 Dangerous World Tour. In 2017 they were made chevaliers of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture.
