Colden Rainey Swindell is an American country music singer and songwriter. He was born on June 30, 1983 in Bronwood, Georgia. Swindell studied marketing at Georgia Southern University, where he met Luke Bryan. The two became friends and stayed in touch past their college years. In fact, Swindell worked for his college friend, handling his merchandise sales, and even wrote some songs for Bryan as he got his career started in country music, songs like "Just a Sip" (2013), "Roller Coaster" (2014), and "In Love with the Girl" (also 2013).
Swindell went on to write for other major country artists as well, such as Craig Campbell and Chris Young. Swindell got signed by Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2010 as a songwriter. In 2013, he self-released the debut single of his own, "Chillin' It" in 2013, which became a hit, topping Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. As a result, Swindell signed his first solo artist deal with Warner Music Nashville. His debut album, the self-titled "Cole Swindell'', came out in February 2014. That too became a massive hit, peaking at #2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, and at #3 on the famous overall Billboard 200 chart. The next year, he went on his first North American Cole Swindell concert tour, as a supporting act for fellow country star Jason Aldean's "Burn It Down Tour".
Since then, he has put out 3 more studio albums, thus he has 4 in total. The best selling one among them has remained his first one, “Cole Swindell” from 2014, which sold 1 million copies in the US alone. Meanwhile, the latest new Cole Swindell album came out in April 2022, with the title “Stereotype”.
The biggest hits in the Cole Swindell setlist to date are the aforementioned “Chillin’ It” (2013), “You Should Be Here” (2016), “Middle of a Memory” (also 2016), and “Break Up in the End” (2018). You can check where the next Cole Swindell concert is playing near you on our page above.
