Helene Fischer Concerts Setlist

Imagine being successful enough to fall alongside Katy Perry and Taylor Swift as one of Forbes' World's Highest Paid Female Musicians-that's right where Helene Fischer stands. German superstar and near two-decade dominator over European music, Helene has earned a right to her oft-bestowed "Queen of Schlager"-commonly describing Germany's number one pop format, Schlager music.

Born in Siberia in 1984 to German-Russian parents, Fischer moved to Germany as a toddler. She turned her musical theater training into an exceptional career that has won her an impressive collection of awards: 17 Echo awards, four "Die Krone der Volksmusik" awards, and three Bambis. But these trophies only tell part of the story.

The real power of Fischer lies in her record-breaking sales and performances. Her 2013 album "Farbenspiel" became the most downloaded German album ever, while her signature song "Atemlos durch die Nacht" topped Germany's 2014 charts. She has dominated the German album sales, laying claim to the best-selling album of the year five times between 2013 and 2018. And with at least 18 million records sold, she has proved that you don't have to sing in English to gain worldwide success.

What makes Fischer special is not only her music but an overall entertainment package. Her annual "Die Helene Fischer Show" became a Christmas tradition on German television, featuring collaborations with international stars like Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bolton, and even Queen. She has taken her performances to new heights by partnering with Cirque du Soleil for her stadium tours, where she often performs up to five consecutive shows in the same venue.

In 2022, Fischer was able to give full expression to her artistic conscience when she performed a protest song entitled "Freiheit" during the SnowpenAir Festival organized in Switzerland. Wearing a blue and yellow ribbon in support of Ukraine, she moved her audience with her emotional performance on the plight faced by Ukrainian families because of the war-a highly personal statement of her own, as her family was forcibly sent to Siberia.

Having pulled in a whopping $32 million in 2018 alone, Fischer has proved that language is no barrier when you connect with audiences through passionate performances and authentic artistry. She's not just Germany's biggest star; she's Europe's answer to America's pop queens, building an empire through music, television, and spectacular live shows.
