Kane Brown Biography

Kane Allen Brown is an American country and R&B singer. He was born on October 21, 1993 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Brown was born to a mixed-race family with a white mother and an African-American father. However, since his father was serving a long prison sentence and he was raised by his mother, he's thought of himself more as a white person than black. Being raised by a single mother also meant that they had quite a lot of financial difficulties in his childhood as well.

As a child, Brown sang in the same church choir as fellow country singer and his high school friend Lauren Alaina. Alaina’s second place finish in season 10 of American Idol inspired Brown to try out for the show as well. Eventually, he made it past the audition phase on another talent-reality show, The X Factor, but never made it to the finals since he refused to join a boyband.

Instead, he started posting covers of famous country music songs to YouTube. In September 2015, his cover version of Lee Brice’s 2014 single “I Don’t Dance” went viral. This led to Brown being signed by the record label Zone 4. Still, to finance his first EP (Extended Play), he had to go to the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. His effort was successful.

His debut album, the self-titled “Kane Brown”, was released in December 2016, through a bigger label, RCA Records Nashville. It featured country songs with heavy pop influences. His debut album became a massive hit, topping Billboard’s chart in the country music category, and even climbing to the #5 spot on the famous overall Billboard 200 list. In 2020, he went on his first international Kane Brown concert tour, called "The Worldwide Beautiful Tour".

Since then, the Tennessean country/R&B star has put out one more studio album. He started to feature R&B tracks on his second album, “Experiment”, which came out in November 2018. Meanwhile, his third and latest new Kane Brown album, “Different Man”, is set to be released in September 2022.

Brown’s biggest hits to date are “Heaven” (2016), “What Ifs” (also 2016) featuring his long-time friend Lauren Alaina, and “Homesick” (2018). He was also featured on the 2019 hit single by American pop and R&B singer Khalid, “Saturday Nights REMIX”. Check where the next Kane Brown concert is playing near you on the page above.

wonder if he'll bring blackbear on tour with him, that would be awesomee

    • 08 Feb 2024, 9:04 countryb0y says:

Just to perform one song? I don't think blackbear would go on tour with kane just for one song.. I mean, if he also opens the concert for kane than thats possible, but otherwise no

    • 17 Feb 2024, 14:47 bryanrobinson551 says:

I mean he has brought out other artists during concerts throughout his career, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Blackbear performed with him on stage

    • 19 Feb 2024, 10:09 countryb0y says:

I'm pretty sure all of those artists that he brought out were small or emerging artists. Blackbear is a well-established, almost mainstream musician. It wouldn't be financially profitable to bring him on tour just for one song performance per show

hope he comes to sydney soon!! there's been a long time i don't see him live

      Lol nope, nothing confirmed yet

    • 06 Feb 2024, 11:49 zucciapple says:

Not sure if there's been any global tour announced to this date; let's hope so. Most of his concerts are in the US

    • 16 Feb 2024, 16:30 DanielIvan707 says:

I believe they will announce smth early this year..

    • 16 Feb 2024, 16:32 DanielIvan707 says:

Yeah... I was noticing that as well. He's been touring in the US like crazy for the past few years. I guess it's because most of his audience is there.

    • 17 Feb 2024, 20:09 khabib8196 says:

they usually announces all of his tour at the beginning of the year, unless some plans change

    • 19 Feb 2024, 7:32 DanielIvan707 says:

Than let's hope plans will change!

    • 19 Feb 2024, 13:45 zucciapple says:

Not only that, but he's probably making more money from shows in the US than internationally, so there isn't really a need for an 'often global tour,' from a business perspective, of course
