MaNga Concerts Setlist

Formed in 2001, in Ankara, Turkey, Manga, also stylized as maNga, is a rock group known for mixing the rock and Anatolian genres, with some electronic sauce. In 2009, maNga won the Best Turkish Act award from MTV Turkey and subsequently the Best European Act award from MTV Europe. They represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "We Could Be the Same" and finished in second place.

They began by playing covers of other rock and metal bands. maNga got noticed after coming second in a music contest called Sing Your Song, which led to a deal with Sony Music. They became more famous by performing at music festivals and working with well-known Turkish singers like Koray Candemir, Vega, and Göksel.

In 2006, maNga made history as the first Turkish rock band to perform at the Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary. That same year, they also had concerts in the Netherlands and Germany. Most of their songs are written by the group members. At that time, the band's style started to mix nu-metal and hip-hop, which set maNga apart from other bands.

According to Yağmur, the main songwriter. maNga's collaboration with Göksel is featured in the successful Turkish film "Sınav" (featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme). Their song "Bir Kadın Çizeceksin" was also included in the FIFA 06 game soundtrack.
