Tate McRae, born Tate Rosner McRae on July 1, 2003, is a singer, dancer, and actress from Calgary, Canada. She initially started as a ballet dancer at the age of six, studying at the Alberta Ballet. However, she gained prominence in the music industry as a singer-songwriter. Tate McRae's music genre can be described as pop with influences from electronic and indie-pop styles.

Tate McRae rose to fame at the age of thirteen when she became a finalist on the reality television show "So You Think You Can Dance." Her performances caught the attention of audiences worldwide. Some of Tate McRae's most famous songs include "You Broke Me First," "Vicious," and "That Way." In 2020, she released her debut EP titled "All The Things I Never Said." The primary single, "Tear Myself Apart," was collaboratively written by Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell. Alongside "All My Friends Are Fake," it has garnered an impressive 10 million streams online.
