Chase Rice Concerts Setlist

Chase Rice is an American singer and songwriter. He was born on September 19, 1985 in Ormond Beach, Florida. While Rice was born in Florida, he was raised in North Carolina where he played linebacker for his high school football team. However, he had to give up his NFL dream due to an unfortunate injury. He went on to graduate from University of North Carolina, then worked in the pit crew for multiple race car drivers. In 2010, he appeared on CBS’s reality show “Survivor: Nicaragua”. He finished second in the contest.

Rice learnt to play the guitar in his college years. Then, he would also perform early Chase Rice concert shows in small venues around his campus. In April 2010, he released his self-produced debut album with the title “Friday Nights and Sunday Mornings”. Evidently, his successful showing on Survivor greatly helped his career in country music as well. His second album, “Dirt Road Communion” from March 2012, was released by the label Dack Janiels Records. It didn’t become a huge hit, however. It peaked at the #15 spot on Billboard’s new artist-specific Heatseekers chart and at the #48 on their Top Country Music Albums chart. However, also in 2012, he co-wrote the hit single “Cruise” by the country duo Florida Georgia Line.

The first record by Rice to hit big was “Ignite the Night”, released in August 2014. It topped Billboard’s country albums chart, and peaked at #3 on the overall Billboard 200 chart. As a result, in 2015, he got to go on his first nationwide Chase Rice concert tour, alongside fellow country star Kenny Chesney, the so-called “The Big Revival Tour”. Since then, Rice has put out two more studio albums, “Lambs & Lions” in November 2017, and the new Chase Rice album, “The Album” in May 2021. The biggest hits in the Chase Rice setlist to date are “Ready, Set, Roll” (2013), “Ride” (2014) featuring Macy Maloy, “Gonna Wanna Tonight” (also 2014), and “Eyes on You” (2017).
