Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe, also known as Lil Tecca, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He was born on August 26, 2002, in Queens, New York. Raised in a family of immigrants from Jamaica, Lil Tecca grew up in Queens, where he developed his passion for rap and hip-hop.

Lil Tecca's rise to fame can be attributed to a fortuitous moment during a game of Call of Duty on Xbox Live. After roasting his friend in a freestyle rap, his talent caught the attention of listeners, leading him to pursue a career in music. He began releasing music on SoundCloud and quickly gained a following, which eventually led to a record deal with Republic Records. 

Some of Lil Tecca's most famous songs include "Ransom," "Love Me," and "Did It Again." "Ransom" in particular propelled him into the mainstream, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His debut mixtape, titled "We Love You Tecca," was released in 2019 and received positive reviews from both critics and fans.

One of his notable features includes a collaboration with Juice WRLD on the song "Ransom (Remix)." The remix further amplified Lil Tecca's exposure and showcased his ability to collaborate with established artists.

In 2022, Tecca joined forces with singer Mabel, from the UK, for the collaboration "Let Love Go," featured in Mabel's second studio album, "About Last Night." Moving into 2023, Lil Tecca made a comeback with a series of singles before dropping his third album, "TEC," on September 22nd. Tecca holds a co-ownership position at Galactic Records.
