Bryson LaShun Potts, also known by his stage name, NLE Choppa, is a rapper from Memphis, United States who went viral on the internet and gained recognition with his 2019 platinum-certified single "Shotta Flow," which peaked in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and preceded his debut EP. Though nobody could've guessed this teenager would blow up the rap game just a few years later, NLE Choppa started with his mom Angela as his manager and then dropped his first track "No Love Anthem" in 2018 under the name YNR Choppa.

Everything changed for the Choppa when "Shotta Flow" hit YouTube in 2019. Ten million views in a month and the major labels came running with their checkbooks out.
